Being the voice of a social medial juggernaut in Brazil

From 2015 to 2019, I freelanced as Snapchat‘s lead translator from English to Brazilian Portuguese. This means I translated all the UI, any new additions to the app, comms from Snapchat to all users, their website, blog and support content, app store descriptions and updates, documents and resources for local partners, and more. I also transcreated Bitmojis (see some below) and localised Zenly, another app that belongs to Snap Inc.

This was an exciting opportunity to do work with massive reach, considering that Brazil was the fourth largest market for Snapchat, with 17 million users as of July 2019.
