Using a killer tune to talk about death

We were excited to promote such a generous initiative, although it was a tricky subject to navigate from day one. To us it meant that CommBank is there for support, so you can focus on what really matters – like the process of coping with loss, whatever that might look like to you or your family.

The result was a heartfelt spot that leaves you warm, without downplaying the impact of a death in the family. It came from the insight that when you lose a loved one, even the smallest things can make you think of them. Like a song. We ran with the bittersweetness of that, showing a family that can afford to just live in that moment, rather than being rushed out of it by financial pressures.
